The messier the better, there's no right or wrong way to serve!
This is my all time absolutely favourite dessert!! The best one I ever had was in Calcot Manor (a fab spa hotel in Gloucestershire!!) It is simple and yet glamorous in it’s own quintessentially British way… and let’s face it, a little bit of naughty is always good for the soul! So, strawberries and cream at their best ….. and literally takes seconds to make!
Ingredients
- 1 punnet strawberries
- a dash of sugar
- broken up pieces of meringue
- softly whipped cream

- Mash the strawberries with a little sugar
- Fold in broken meringues and softly whipped cream
- Serve, eat and enjoy!
